Yes, you heard us correctly The Gin Palooza is coming to town on 4 April with the aim to bring Canberra the best experiences in Australian gins - and in case you were curious, there's over 150 gins are coming! To make the day even more outstanding, we're bringing you a very unique masterclass never before seen in the Capital... You won't believe it but yes, this distillery from the rolling hills of Gippsland is creating bespoke spirits from locally and sustainably sourced superfoods, grown on the families dairy farm near Wilson's Promontory, in Victoria. Using Cannabis sativa, or Hemp, to create their first line of boutique spirits, Natural Distillery Co is really turning heads in the industry. As consumers are starting to realise the natural health benefits of this complex plant, its variety of uses is expanding and the liquor industry is no different, bringing this naturally sustainable plant to life in another positive light. And they're not just distilling with hemp, they're getting ready to introduce Manuka Honey to the mix as they build on their range of spirits distilled from locally sourced, natural superfoods. We spent years learning, tinkering and tasting to develop and refine our offering. Once the use of the natural super-plant Cannabis sativa (Hemp) was legalised in November 2017, we applied for a licence to grow and the rest is history.
