Responsible Service of Alcohol & Smoking |
The Regatta Hotel practices safe and responsible service of alcohol. Any guests found to be unduly intoxicated or behaving in an inappropriate manner will be refused continued service and may be removed. No refunds or reimbursement will be provided in this instance. A set of standard House Rules is applicable on this day. Due to our licensing requirements it is illegal to serve food within a designated smoking area. Please be aware no food items will be served within this space for the full duration of the event. |

We encourage all guests to arrive via public transport. The Toowong City Cat Ferry Terminal is located directly out the front of the Regatta Hotel and offers convenient access to our venue.  | To ensure a seamless entry on the day, we recommend attending one of our Registration Sessions, to collect your wristband ahead of the crowd. Information to our 2 Registration Sessions are listed below: Registration Session 1: Date: Sunday 5th November Time: 1pm - 3pm Location: Courtyard Registration Session 2: Date: Monday 6th November Time: 5pm - 7pm Location Courtyard Don't forget to bring a print out of your E-ticket + ID for collection! |
Pre-registration will be setup within the Regatta Hotel’s Courtyard Area. Guests will be required to bring a copy of the printed tickets emailed as names will be marked off a guest list. If you do not have a printed ticket, please simply state the first and last name the tickets were purchased under and you will be provided with wrist bands for the amount of tickets purchased. Please make sure your booking name is correct otherwise our registration staff will not be able to locate your booking. We suggest if you have booked a large group purchased under one name that you do collect wrist bands during the pre-registrations time slots to avoid congestion and register lines on the day. When you arrive on the day, please ensure all guests are wearing their wrist bands for entry into the Melbourne Cup Gala Event. This wristband will grant access to the Garden Party Marquee in the Laneway, the Level 1 Function Rooms and Walrus Club. Please note, we are unable to provide replacements for any lost wrist bands. |
