Melbourne’s original and best gin party Juniperlooza, returns Saturday November 18 and is moving down river to The Boatbuilders Yard on South Wharf, a location infused with Melbourne’s maritime history.
Moored in the depths of gin’s past is a tale of testament, taste and quality. Sixteenth-century sailors were often paid for their labor with rations of alcohol. With the intent to ensure their method of payment was pure, they ‘proved’ the beverage’s worth by creating a gun powder and gin concoction that was then set alight. The bigger the bang the better the beverage.

In 2017, Juniperlooza is all about the explosion of flavour in superb cocktails created by the masterminds behind each gin brand. An impressive showcase of 18 independent Australian and international gin producers will showcase two gin-based drinks: a classic gin and tonic, and a signature gin cocktail that will delight your taste buds. These perfectly crafted gin cocktails boast all the fun, fizzle and flavours imaginable to get the party started.
Alongside the premium gin producers there will be delicious food from The Boatbuilders Yard kitchen and ‘Talk + Taste’ sessions with some of Australia’s best gin producers.
The festival will be on from 12pm–8pm for one day only, with producers soon to be announced. Ticket-holders can once again expect navy strength entertainment, including DJs and weird and wonderful performing artists.

Early birds can purchase an entry ticket for $35 from 1-31 August. From 1 September tickets can be purchased for $45.
