Sons of Steel 1989
Seminal Australian science fiction musical set in the future, about a time travelling agent sent back to prevent the Sydney Opera House being blown up. The film stars Rob Hartley as Black Alice, who performed most of the songs for the film, and was written, directed and music directed by Gary L. Keady. Curated & hosted by Jay Katz & Miss Death Special guest: Gary L. Keady (Writer & director) Keady is a director, writer and composer, best known for Sons of Steel. Keady also co-founded and performed in the heavy metal band Black Alice with Rob Hartly as the lead singer. Hartly went on to star in Sons of Steel as a character also named Black Alice. |
